LOCATION: Muker, Swaledale.
START TIME: 9am/09:00hrs.
DURATION: 6 to 7hrs
This one-day guided walk, including a 'Nature Therapy Practice Session', will take us through the famous wildflower meadows of Muker in Swaledale, in the North of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village of Muker is a traditional Dales village, with a number of it's surrounding wild flower meadows being protected as having Site of Special Scientific Interest status
There may be the chance for a 'wild swim' should you want to, at your own risk, in a number of spots along the route.
Our Nature Therapy session will take place at a suitable point where the environment invites us.
REQUIREMENTS: Those joining this guided walk & Nature Therapy session should have a suitable level of fitness & mobility required to walk on uneven terrain & footpaths in hilly countryside, and also have appropriate clothing and equipment for the conditions to gain the most from the day.
Those attending should be in possession of all items listed on kit list (which will be sent out with information pack on booking).
INCLUDED: Route leadership, planning, organisation and information by fully qualified and experienced mountain leader + Nature Therapy Practice led by qualified practitioner, registered with the Complimentary Medicine Association
NOT INCLUDED: Travel, accommodation, any other expenses such as parking fees, etc. We also do not provide any travel or personal accident insurance.
